I am a composer based in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK, undertaking a PhD at Newcastle University, where I was previously awarded a BA (Hons) and MMus in Music. A list of my work, which has been described as 'bold' (The Journal) and 'skilful' (Jon Bradley, City Carillonneur for Newcastle upon Tyne) can be found on the Works page. My primary research interests include the role of sound in place experience and developing unique approaches to material generation and structure in contemporary classical music. My other creative interests include acousmatic music and popular music.

Interval Mirror Point, a compositional technique developed in 2020, is outlined on the Interval Mirror Point page. The aim of the page is to encourage the use of this technique by other composers.

Beyond my artistic research, I teach contemporary composition and hold Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) status. I also hold an Associate of the London College of Music (ALCM) diploma in Electric Guitar Performance (RQF Level 5).
