I am a composer based in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK, and currently a PhD candidate at Newcastle University, where I was previously awarded a BA (Hons) and MMus in Music. A list of my work, which has been described as 'bold' (The Journal) and 'skilful' (Jon Bradley, City Carillonneur for Newcastle upon Tyne) can be found on the Works page. My current research interests include techniques of contemporary composition, and the role of sound in place experience and how this can be understood through creative practice. I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and teach contemporary music composition.

Interval Mirror Point, a compositional technique I developed in 2020, is outlined on the Interval Mirror Point page. The aim of th page is to encourage the use of this technique by other composers. I am happy to answer any questions relating to the use of the technique.

Scores for perusal are available upon request.
